Ploum Large High Back Sofa - Ligne Roset - Design R. & E. Bouroullec

Sofa purchased new in 2016 from Ligne Roset (Boutique 68 rue Réaumur, Paris 3rd - invoice available upon request). Original anthracite fabric. A stripe in the fabric (about 5 cm) at the seat. See photo. Ploum sofas are the result of research into comfort. This is based on a particular combination of two materials: the joint use of a stretch covering and hyper-soft foam. The combination of these two materials, associated with the truly generous dimensions of Ploum sofas, offers extreme comfort and allows for different postures for the body. As intended by the designers, the large sofa has an asymmetrical construction: right backrest a little higher than the left, right seat a little deeper than the left, zipper on the back of the backrest off-center. This large sofa, which can accommodate up to 4 people, has a slightly closed angulation of the seat which allows for close postures encouraging exchanges between the occupants of the seat. The extreme flexibility of contact combined with a free form make Ploum a real nest: in fact, all positions are possible, the back and head finding the same soft contact in any part of the seat, armrests included.
