Woka AD10 Maison Desny French Art Deco Desk Table Lamp

A fantastic classic french art deco lamp designed by maison desny of paris in the 1920's and reproduced under license the the viennese atelier woka lamps. This particular example is not signed or marked in any way, but it is absolutely consistent with the way the austrian company woka has been manufacturing the model. The black stem part is made of lacquered beech wood. The nickel chrome finish has minot pitting and is in overall very good condition. This is wired for usa with a high quality set up bulb sockets and cable. Being that this is a vintage example there is some patina present in the form of scuffs and wear consistent with an item that has seen everyday use. The design allows fro the ar to swing making this lamp quite versatile. It weights over 13kgs (30 lbs). The shade diameter is approximately 38 cm (15 inches). The base diameter is 22 cm (8.75 inches). It stands about 51 cm (20 inches) tall.
