Vintage 1960s, brutalist Danish modern oak dining chairs by Henning Kjærnulf

Crafted in Denmark in the 1960s/70s, inspired by Henning Kjærnulf’s Brutalist / Baroque Bold style. Each chair is solid with no damage to the wood, and in good shape though we recomend a reupholstery in the near by future. The wood has developed a beautiful patina, with each chair displaying unique aging while still clearly belonging together as a set from the same home. These chairs are in good vintage condition, with the original upholstery well-maintained, though the foam inside is a bit low, they are still in useable shape. The wood and stability still in perfect form. Pair these 6 vintage oak dining chairs with other kjærnulf style chairs and with one of our mid-century solid oak extension tables, also in the style of Kjærnulf, for a cohesive look. Alternatively, mix them with a modern white table to create a striking contrast between classic and contemporary.
