Pair of Space Age lamps in smoked glass

Stunning pair of Space Age table lamps in smoked glass. This duo is truly original and appears to have originated in Germany. The gold and brass plastic base and the smoked glass globe are of very high quality. This set offers us two lamps with an original design straight out of the "Space Age." On a side table, bedside tables, or a sideboard, these lamps will quickly find their place in your home. The two lamps were found in two different locations. A difference in material is worth noting. The ring that holds the glass and secures it with the small screws is plastic on one model and metal on the other. This must have been a modification made during the years of production of this model. Otherwise, everything is identical except for the number of bubbles in the glass.; ) Note in the photos that one is more full than the other. Dimensions: Height 35cm. Base diameter 18cm. Globe diameter 21cm. The piece is well preserved and in good overall condition, but shows some slight signs of wear. See photos.
