Art Deco console Straw marquetry

Console 2 drawers with straw marquetry fronts. Walnut top. The 2 sides of the box have been inlaid with rye straw naturally dyed with blue pigments. The 2 drawers are entirely in walnut for perfect finishes. They are mounted on full output slides with shock absorbers for optimal comfort of use. The straw marquetry facades take up one of the classic motifs of the art deco period, and require a perfect mastery of the technique of marquetry to interlock these arcs of circles, while playing on the sun motif inside each of them. The reflections are unique and majestic. Base matt black steel 20mm to ensure stability and elegance. Discreet drawer knobs in solid brass. Unique piece dated and signed by the workshop bcmobilier.
