Pair of pedestals in Pitchpine with trompe-l'œil marble effect. 1930s.

Artisanal work. This pair of Art Deco side tables perfectly illustrates the craftsmanship of pitch pine, recognizable among thousands by its dark, graphic, and extremely contrasted grain. The structure beautifully highlights the amber fibers, transitioning from cream yellow to reddish-brown. The upper tops are made of pine, crafted in a trompe-l'œil marble effect. The legs feature slightly tapered straight posts at the base. The whole piece has been cleaned and oiled. Wear and small缺缺 mostly at the back.
