Plate foot KG Lunéville decoration blue pansies 1880-1910

Pedestal plate in fine earthenware, from the Keller & Guérin factory in Lunéville, adorned with the famous “Œillet” design in deep blue on an ivory background. This delicately naturalistic floral motif, complemented by a stylised vegetal frieze on the rim and pedestal, embodies the refinement of French earthenware from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The elegant silhouette of this stand, with its wide bowl resting on a slender foot, makes it a piece that is both decorative and functional, ideal as a centrepiece for presenting fruits, pastries, or as a sculptural element on a sideboard. Stamped “K.G. Lunéville”, from the Keller & Guérin factory, a key reference in Lorraine earthenware, known for the fineness of its clays and the quality of its printed decorations. The stamp dates it to around 1880-1910. In good vintage condition, with a chip on the rim (visible in photos) and a few tiny nicks on the edge, without cracks or restoration. The glaze has a beautiful patina, with a fine, even crazing typical of these old productions, highlighting the authentic character of the piece.
