Victorian edwardian velvet jewelry box 1900 france / decoration jewelry secrets / vintage velvet box padded with burgundy silk interior this very old box (on sale empty) is a box for jewelry and secrets. It was made of burgundy red velvet for the exterior and burgundy red silk for the interior. It is placed on its top like two metal arabesque clasps. It dates from the 1800s/1880s and is in good general condition considering its age. Its exterior velvet is worn in places but its interior is immaculate, all padded. (see photos in detail). It is a very decorative box which will give character to your interior, item for collector.
