Art Deco style goblet, made in the 1930s by the renowned Moser manufactory in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, is entirely formed from crystal with a deep amber hue. Its construction features a strongly defined, geometric line and a widely flared bowl, whose faceted walls sharpen light reflections. The base is a distinctly accented, octagonal, also faceted stem, smoothly connecting to the bowl. The crystal mass is thick, the edges precisely polished, and the whole is signed by the manufacturer. The goblet shows no signs of wear or repair – it is preserved in excellent, authentic condition, with a high gloss and no scratches or chips. This object is a voice from the 1930s: a period when Art Deco brought modernist discipline and luxurious character to everyday life. The amber crystal holds a luminous echo of pre-war Europe – the faceted walls split light into multicoloured reflections, evoking the atmosphere of old salons where decorativeness combined with expressive geometry. The form of the goblet seems to speak of the confidence and harmony of the interwar years, where every line and proportion was subordinated to the purity of style and clear logic of design. The goblet can be displayed on an open shelf in the living room or in a glass collection cabinet – it will fit perfectly among other Art Deco or vintage objects. It is worth pairing it with dark wood or black lacquer, where the amber depth of the crystal will resonate most strongly. In a minimalist arrangement, a single goblet can be a dominant feature, while in a classic living room it can complement the composition of an elegant console or marble fireplace.
