Superb extendable round dining table by the famous Swiss designer Emile Baumann, made in France around 1970. This model is unique due to its central leg that opens in two for the installation of the two extensions. Made entirely of mahogany (base and apron) with a mahogany veneer (top), it features exquisite marquetry work around the edges with different types of mahogany, giving it elegance and originality. Additionally, each leg has an adjustable metal pad for perfect stability. The extension system is made of aluminium, allowing the table to transition from a round table with a diameter of 110 cm (for 4 people) to an oval table of 150 cm in length with one extension (for 6 people), and finally to 190 cm with both extensions (for 8 people). Height is 74 cm, including a 7 cm apron. In superb used condition, there are just 2 or 3 micro chips on the apron and 1 on the top (see the last 3 photos), as well as a slight imperceptible mark from a Bultex underlay, all without affecting the aesthetics. This very beautiful, high-quality table will undoubtedly add a touch of exclusivity to your dining area. Not to be missed!!!
