Beautiful antique soup tureen in Gien earthenware, Venise Poitevine model, which can also be used as a large salad bowl. Hand-painted floral decoration, typical of this charming and authentic collection. Marking on the reverse: Gien – Venise Poitevine – hand-painted, made in France. Ideal as a soup tureen, family salad bowl, or as a decorative piece on a vintage table. In general good condition, with some signs of age consistent with its years: – small defects on the glaze. – presence of a slight hairline (see photo) – small loss of paint on the decoration.
