Old solid wood bilboquet and its cord. Height 18cm. Several other models available. —- A bit of history. The origin of the bilboquet game is quite obscure. Some sources say that it appeared for the first time in france, at the end of the sixteenth century, but the clothes of the oldest engravings showing bilboquet players are from the seventeenth century. King henry III of france launched the bilboquet fashion during his reign (1574-1589). He loved to play it during his walks surrounded by his cuties.
