Four antique Regency bergère chairs with mother-of-pearl inlay.

We are pleased to offer for sale this elegant set of four original bergère chairs from circa 1810-1820 in Regency style, made of ebony with mother-of-pearl inlays. The lot is decorated with gold leaf and retains its original ebony finish. The early rattan seats are still very sturdy on three of the chairs. Dimensions: Height 85 cm, Width 38 cm, Depth 46 cm, Seat height 42 cm. The condition is consistent with the period, showing patina marks and light wear in keeping with its age.
