Ceramic vase from the 1940s designed by Nathalie Krebs for Saxbo. Made in characteristic stoneware with nuanced glaze in warm orange and brownish tones. Saxbo was founded in 1929 by Nathalie Krebs and Franz Syberg and quickly became known for its technically precise and aesthetically strict stoneware. Krebs' works are characterised by simple, sculptural forms and experimental glazes, as in this vase, where the play of colours changes character with the light and the surface. Material: Stoneware.
