Post Modern Memphis Lacquered Sideboard 1980s Deco Vintage 1970s

This sideboard, coloured duck egg blue and composed of lacquered wood, possibly from cassina originated in greece in the 1980s –– a time of great prosperity for the country, but imported from italy in the same period during the memphis era. Elegant, refined and minimal, this modestly-sized piece consists of two identical halves, each with two doors. The doors form a v-shaped inlet at the centre that are divided by three tower like panels giving this piece lines faintly reminiscent of the art deco movement like most of memphis milano items. The sideboard is in good condition, and would make an excellent addition to any room in the house. Its muted eggshell tone means it can fit into almost any style of interior, from the minimalism to maximalism of the memphis group, through to a nineties post-modernism.
