Description
From the series of animals signed michel caugant this terrine hand-painted in the shape of a bird. Reference brand in the french food industry of the 70s. Caugan was a charcuterie manufacturer in brittany in the 30s. His son michel had the idea to offer these terrines in animal shapes in order to enhance the pâtés of the family business. These terrines with their very finely decorated lids have become real collector's items. Partridge-shaped terrine, entirely handmade. In very good condition, an original crack due to cooking that is not through (see photo) For decoration and collection. Length 16 cm. Width 10.5 cm. Height 13 cm (low height only 5 cm) Weight 400 g.
