This pair of Tijou armchairs, designed by Bruno Houssin and produced by SOKA, is an emblematic piece of contemporary engaged French design. 👉 Awarded at the VIA Labels in 2005, the Tijou armchair illustrates an intelligent approach to design: ergonomics, durability, and sculptural aesthetics. Once seated, the body relaxes naturally, regardless of the position adopted. The enveloping seat and pleasant-to-the-touch material provide immediate comfort. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, it naturally finds its place in a lounge area, a contemporary living room, or around a swimming pool. Each armchair weighs approximately 6 kg, making them easy to move according to preferences, while maintaining excellent stability and great robustness. Ecological characteristics. Recyclable rotomoulded polyethylene. Fine self-supporting membrane limiting the amount of plastic material. Mass-coloured. Hollow body: low weight and reduced impact on transport. End of life. Monomaterial, facilitating recycling. Dimensions. Height: 77 cm. Width: 66 cm. Seat height: 42 cm. Base diameter: 42 cm. Condition. Very good overall condition, slight signs of use consistent with age, with no impact on aesthetics or sturdiness.
