Large modernist mid-century table lamp "Chamotte" Gunnar Nylund Rörstrand, Sweden

Large table lamp (vase) from a group called Chamotte. The name indicates the large pieces of chamotte that have been placed in the vase to give it this spectacular appearance; they were produced at Rörstrand in the late 1930s and early 1940s. Designed by one of the icons of Swedish ceramic design, Gunnar Nylund. Good vintage condition with a small loss at the tip of the base. Dimensions: ceramic H 23 D 18 cm with shade H 45 cm D 35.
