Aubusson No. 4

The “Aubusson” series brings together a collection of frames and wall hangings made and assembled in our Parisian workshop from fragments of period Aubusson wall hangings and antique frames dating from the 1850s to the 1950s. Rectangular wall hanging composed of fragments of Aubusson tapestry representing different details of a greenery previously assembled together. This hanging shows traces of time such as small accidents, traces of repairs as well as a restoration on the back of one of the fragments which gives it an authentic patina. It will find its place in any type of interior, alone or accompanied by other wall decorations and will bring an antique touch to your decoration. The upper part of the strip is equipped with a golden hook; a nail in the wall and that's it! A second lower part of the strip allows for a natural fall.
