designer boarding school bedside table

Bedside table , composed of a tubular metal frame, a low folded sheet metal serving as a magazine holder, and a wooden drawer. The top plate is made of plywood with real wood veneer (so it can be lightly sanded if necessary). The whole thing forms a very pretty bedside table with a vintage school design that also fits very well at the end of a sofa. This bedside table with a school and industrial design comes from a high school boarding school in the jura region and was stored loose in an attic for several decades. This is the reason for its restoration. The wood has been cleaned, lightly sanded, and waxed to restore its natural color. The drawer is functional as you can see in the photo, and the drawer stop is present. The plywood on the top shelf has some slight cracks. Hardly visible to the eye but can be felt to the touch. The magazine rack shelf has been re-welded and the entire metalwork repainted in a creamy white shade (original gray). The foot pads are original.
