Superb romantic lamp base in earthenware. We love it for its delicate floral patterns, its shape, and the ridges of its glaze. Its delicate gold trim at the base enhances the whole piece. It would beautifully complement a romantic, shabby chic atmosphere. The earthenware from Salins is a ceramic production that began in 1857 in the French town of Salins-les-Bains in Franche-Comté. H 18 cm. Base diameter 9 cm. Circumference at the widest point 37 cm. It shows no significant signs of wear, no cracks or chips.
