Large openwork metal floor lamps, Morocco, 1980s, set of 2

Set of 2 large Moroccan obelisk-style floor lamps produced in the 1980s. Made of metal using manual perforation techniques, they feature intricate cutouts that, when lit, cast Moorish patterns and elaborate shadow play on surrounding surfaces. In a warm earth colour, each lamp has two light sources, one at the base and the other at the top, to diffuse light evenly over the entire height of 190 cm. They fit into many interior styles and are very impressive as, in addition to the warmth they bring to the environment when lit, they are truly striking and decorative. E27 bulbs.
