Audoux-Minet stools

Pair of stools by the duo Adrien Audoux & Frida Minet, active mainly in the 1940s–1950s. Seat: Thick cord/raffia weaving in a central spiral. Peripheral crown in wide braid, with a chevron pattern. Structure: Solid tripod base. Turned and curved wood (probably elm, walnut, or fruitwood). Triangular stretcher with tapered elements, organic section. Underside: Solid wood top. Added weaving in the peripheral crown. Natural patina. In very good condition.
