Ben Swildens Lounge Chair for Stabin Bennis "Diabolo", Dutch Design 1960s
Dimensions: H60 X W90 X D90. Color: black. Materials: leather. Style: vintage. This beautiful mid-century furniture is called the "diabolo" lounge chair. A very rare and exclusive lounge chair made by Stabin Bennis in the Netherlands and designed by Dutch designer Ben Swildens in the 1960s. The name diabolo is derived from its shape, resembling the juggling object called diabolo, with two cups forming an hourglass shape. The lower cup acts as a base while the upper cup serves as a comfortable lounge area. The chair is fully restored, with the top cup and cushion newly upholstered in authentic black leather and the fiberglass base professionally painted white. The lounge chair is like new.
