Provençal straw chair from the 18th century.

A very beautiful straw-seated chair with cabriole legs adorned with acanthus leaves, a footrest, and a straw cover decorated with flowers. The back is violin-shaped with a bracket-like curve. Original green paint with gray highlights. The straw seat has been redone in red and green. Purchased from Vincent Mit-l’Ane in L’Île-sur-la-Sorgue, the specialist in straw-seated chairs.
