Art deco or art nouveau, many of us use one or the other in terms of chandeliers. Given the weight and the time - it was, from the beginning, in a bourgeois house completed in 1928 - this ceiling light has every chance of being gold copper. I think I have to insist that the patina of this object is normal. The complete cleaning, which I did not do, will never give it the appearance of a copper as can be found in some large areas. This suspension, beautifully worked, still worked perfectly in a guest room after almost 90 years of good and loyal service at the time of the stall. I suppose it may be necessary to have it examined by an electrician before he leaves for a new life, to see if the assembly standards of the time are still relevant. I tried to take pictures of this fixture from all angles (including two of the tulips that were revealed during the photo shoot and whose petals are amputated. I may be able to transmit them via the site) The glass paste tulips are painstakingly put back in place thanks to three small screws with each fire (photos 4, 5 and 6). I had nothing to weigh on the day of the photo shoot: I would say in the 3 kg. The object fits in a volume of 37 X 26 X 16 cm. This suspension is not at my house but at 300 km, it takes two to three weeks before I can bring it back for a discount or a shipment, by colissimo with confidence.
