Superb hollow dish / salad bowl made of glazed stoneware, handcrafted from the famous Poterie de la Colombe (studio founded by Madeleine Brault in Orriule in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques). Brutalist and modernist aesthetic. The exterior in raw clay displays warm, earthy tones, highlighted by expressive projections of black oxide. The interior offers a stunning contrast with its subtly speckled cream glaze. Poterie de la Colombe is distinguished by its glazed stoneware and the abstract tachist patterns that characterize it. In perfect vintage condition, without cracks or chips. Ideal for adding an authentic and warm mid-century ceramic touch to your table or decor. A very beautiful collectible piece, unique due to its handcrafted nature. Poterie de la Colombe is a ceramics studio created and produced in the 50s/60s by Madeleine Brault. Weight 1.780 kg.
