Antique terracotta planter – 19th-century laundry tub XXL

Large French washing basin made of terracotta dating from the 19th century. Crafted from terracotta, it features a dark grey surface and a fine vertical incised decoration around the body. The basin has a wide rounded rim and an old iron band around the upper part. At the bottom is the original spout, closed with a cork stopper. The basin is in good antique condition, with visible signs of age and use. There are old metal repairs and some wear and small losses on the rim, as shown in the photos. Originally designed as a functional washing basin, its large size and simple shape make it a stunning decorative object or an impressive indoor or outdoor planter today. Diameter: 76 cm.
