Antique brass oil lamp with fish decoration – marine object – cabinet

Antique figurative oil lamp in brass representing a fish, mounted on a decorative base with a shell motif. The fish's head is articulated and opens, forming a compartment that likely served as a reservoir for the oil. The upper bowl held the wick or burner. The whole is complemented by several small hanging accessories. A very beautiful decorative object in a marine style, typical of table items from the late 19th or early 20th century.
