12 Haviland L.R Mallet plates 40-60

Set of 12 Limoges porcelain plates by Haviland, signed L.R Mallet (1924-1997) for the Lestienne house, Avenue de l'Opéra, in Paris from the 1940s to 1960s. It includes 6 large flat plates with a diameter of 21.7 cm and 6 small flat plates with a diameter of 18.9 cm. The hand-painted decoration by the artist evokes the Far East (birds perched and flying, flowering branches, finely gilded vases). Each piece is different but coordinated, forming a harmonious set, enhanced by gilded borders and ornaments.
