Oil on canvas signed and dated

Sublime painting, oil on canvas dated 1947 and signed by the artist. Very beautiful achievement for this painting depicting the wearing of an elegant woman dressed in a dress revealing the shoulders and embellished with lace. This woman wears jewelry including a pendant, a watch, a loner and earrings. She also holds a bouquet of flowers that appears to be eyen eyes. She sits on an armchair whose sculpted work of the back is visible and behind her, a blue draped curtain. She is beautifully made up and styled with a low bun, her face is slightly profile and her look seems abandoned, thoughtful... This large painting is surrounded by an ancient stripe. The canvas has two repairs, one at the hand and the other towards an eye (see photo). Rare painting, and of great beauty that will be very decorative in many interiors. Weight: 1.2kg.
