Extendable dining table by Lübke, rosewood, 1960s

An elegant dining table with a beautiful wood grain in a classic mid-century design. The round table can be extended in the centre to form an oval measuring 185 cm. The mechanism is easy to operate and works perfectly. The entire table has been finished to a very high standard and is extremely sturdy. The table tops are covered with rosewood veneer and feature real wood edges, whilst the legs are solid. The supporting ring is made of veneered blockboard and the extension mechanism is crafted from beech wood. The table has been sanded, stained to match the original finish and given a gloss varnish.
