Lunéville Teapot - Keller & Guérin (K&G)

Very elegant fine earthenware teapot from the keller & guérin (k&g) factory in lunéville, made around 1900-1910. Typical art nouveau floral decoration, with large stylized white flowers with a very pale green center and brown foliage on a deep raspberry background. Pale pink underside of the handle and base as well as the underside of the lid handle. Gilt highlights on the lid, spout and handle. A delicate piece with timeless charm. Stamped under the base "k&g lunéville france", used between 1890 and 1922. Good overall condition for a piece from this period. Visible micro-crazing in the glaze (age crackling), without chips or cracks. Fairly well-preserved gilding, some wear on the handle and the rim of the spout. The lid handle has been broken and glued back together and the edge of the lid has a chip that is not visible when the lid is placed on the floor. Dimensions: diameter approximately 13 cm, height 16 cm.
