Modern Scandinavian Art Glass Oxid Vase from Borgström Åseda, Sweden

A large handblown sommerso vintage art glass vase known as "oxid" made by bo borgström for åseda, sweden. This is a very special vase, the color is a deep blue with darker blue speckles surrounded by clear crystal. It is very grand and yet also very simple and sophisticated and will be a fantastic show piece in any setting. It is 25cm high (9.84") and around 9cm (3.54") in diameter at the base. Note this is a rather heavy object 1854 gram (4.08 lbs). It is in a very good condition.
