Traditional "horseshoe" chair in guangdong province (eastern china). Original red laque. Beautiful gilded wooden sculptures. Very good condition. End of the qing dynasty (early 20th century). The height of the seat is 49.5 cm, but the total height at the back is 88 cm. Another chair, of identical size, color and origin, is available, but it is not a real pair, as can be seen in the last photo.
