French antique mirror Louis Philippe, 19th century

This French Louis Philippe mirror dates from the second half of the 19th century. It features the characteristic rounded upper corners and a wide moulded wooden frame with a gilded finish and a beaded inner border. The frame is made of wood with a traditional stucco preparation beneath the gilding, typical of mirrors from this period. The back retains its original wooden panel. The mirror is in good antique condition with signs of age-related wear, including minor losses of gilding, small chips in the stucco, slight ageing of the mirror, and a more noticeable loss in the upper right corner of the frame, as shown in the photos. The frame is structurally sound.
