Champagne Chair by Estelle & Erwin Laverne – New Forms

Rare "Champagne Chair" armchair designed by Estelle and Erwin Laverne for Formes Nouvelles. An iconic model of French design from the 1950s-60s, featuring a transparent monobloc plexiglass shell mounted on a swivelling brushed aluminium tulip base. Presence of the original marking "Champagne Chair Laverne – Formes Nouvelles". The armchair retains its period patina with some signs of use and slight yellowing of the plexiglass, consistent with its age. Seat cushion included. A collectible piece with timeless design, ideal for a contemporary, vintage, or modernist interior. Approximate dimensions: Width: 58 cm Depth: 61 cm Height: 91 cm.
