Suite of finely decorated "hand-decorated" fine earthenware dessert plates, made by the french faïenceries (another name for the continental faïenceries), in the 1950s. The "comet" pattern resembles a variant of the "stars" pattern. Good condition, the few visible defects are slight defects of manufacture classic at the time.
