Pair of tall Victorian walnut chests of drawers

We are delighted to offer for sale this superb pair of tall Victorian walnut chests of drawers. A very aesthetic pair, well made and functional, ideal as lamp or wine tables, but can also serve as tall bedside tables. It is rare to find chests of this size; they may have a drawer height that is slightly more than normal. It appears they were once joined in the middle or at the top, with signs of old amendments visible on each side. They have been cleaned, waxed, and polished, ready for use. Dimensions: Height: 89.5 cm, Width: 39 cm, Depth: 50.5 cm. All measurements are taken at the widest point. Condition: good, wear consistent with age and use, small losses and slight discolouration. Note that vintage and original pieces like leather seating always exhibit a natural patina in the form of cracks, creases, and wear. It is recommended to regularly wax to prevent moisture loss, and to avoid exposing hand-dyed leather to prolonged direct sunlight to prevent drying and discolouration.
