It is in excellent condition, like new, without shine, lack, chip or crack. π₯π₯π₯ history π₯π₯π₯ Born in 1927, jacques lobjoy naturally intended for ceramics, but he turned instead to creation. From 1945, he followed both technical and artistic training at the ecole des mΓ©tiers d'art in paris, in the ceramics section. In 1950, he worked as a decorator for the villeroy et boch pottery. In 1957, he decided to work for his father's ceramic manufacturing company, the company "porcelaine d'auteuil", which he finally took over in 1968. Looking for sources of inspiration, in 1969 he made a trip to london, city of pop art. We find the principle of this artistic trend in certain variants of the service that lobjoy designed on its return, in particular, the famous bistrot model, destined to become, over the following decades, a reference table service. It takes its name from the use of this thick and robust porcelain that was precisely used for bistros, a material that had never been used by designers before. πππ features πππ π brand: porcelaine d'auteuil / material: porcelain / colors: white background, red and black patterns / Inscription: porcelaine d'auteuilβparis-france. π dimensions: height: 16 cm / diameter: 10 cm. βοΈ weight (excluding packaging): 700 grams.
