Set of 4 chairs

An iconic project of Polish industrial design from the 1960s. The chairs were designed by Professor Rajmund Teofil Hałas, who began his career as a master carpenter in his father's factory but rose to become a university professor. He is the author of numerous projects, including several iconic ones, such as the 1959 Adjustable Height Bookcase, and many others that have received prestigious awards. The chairs have undergone a complete renovation. The wooden frames were stripped of their old varnish, stained brown, and protected with several coats of semi-matte varnish. The upholstery on the backs and seats has been replaced with fashionable fabric.
