Charming pair of mini paddles, light wood, ash probably, which will make a nice decorative element that evokes both travel and vintage sport. A gift idea for a sportsman for valentine's day... According to the label still present, it is a native american craftsmanship, which comes from the shop "le huron" which has existed for three generations on the wendake reserve in canada. The label does not seem recent, I will lean towards a work of the 70s but without certainty for the moment: I sent a message to the shop in question, if I get a response, I will add it here. When I found them, they were attached to each other by a screw. I chose to remove this screw because I think they will be better highlighted that way. The hole on one being through, I opted for a filling with wood pulp, to make it less showy. I passed a light coat of varnish in a few places (recapping, abrasions). They are in good general condition but have some marks of time: some various marks (scratches, abrasions, traces of stickers perhaps), a hole on the back of one, a hole through but plugged on the other, a small hole at the bottom of the handle on each. They measure 73 cm in length, 11.5 cm at the widest, and each weigh about 250g.
