Three Globe Floor Lamp by Targetti, Italy 1970s

This charming floor lamp produced by targetti features a lovely design, and does it three times over. Starting from a bottom, the lamp's chrome base squeezes into a slim column which rises up, then flares out to hold a lovely 17 cm diameter glass globe. The globe's bottom part is whitened, so that it casts diffuse light to the sides, and clear light upwards. Multiply this by three, at different heights, and what you get is nothing short of lovely. The lamp is in perfect working order, and it is turned on and off using its footswitch.
