Superb piece of Indonesian craftsmanship, this large mirror (123x135 cm) was brought directly from Bali. Made from solid exotic wood (either teak or suar), it is distinguished by its wide upper band sculpted in bas-relief with traditional floral motifs. The frame features half-wood joints with overhanging crosspieces, typical of Balinese architecture, as well as geometric engraving details on the side posts. Its natural patina and generous dimensions make it an ideal centrepiece for a bohemian chic, ethnic, or contemporary interior.
