Set of three shallow dishes in Italian ceramic from the 1970s, signed Ceramica Primula and entirely hand-decorated. Their warm design features a large stylised floral pattern in ochre and chocolate brown, emblematic of Italian retro aesthetics. The wide deep brown band inside adds relief and intensity to the whole, creating a very contemporary graphic effect. Ceramica Primula is an Italian workshop specialising in hand-decorated earthenware, active in the second half of the 19th century. Their pieces are recognisable by their highly graphic patterns and warm colours, characteristic of 1970s Italian design. In good vintage condition, with slight signs of use and small chips on the edge (see photos). Diameters: 19 cm, 21 cm, and 23 cm; heights: 6 cm, 7 cm, and 8 cm. Ideal for adding a warm retro-modern touch to a contemporary table.
