Slip-cast trivet

A charming glazed ceramic trivet that imitates the texture of wicker in a lovely pale green (hence the photos on a black background, as otherwise it would be impossible to show the true color). It bears the stamp "Famex creation made in France" underneath; I can't tell you much more, as surprisingly, I found absolutely nothing about this company. I imagine this piece dates from the 1960s or 70s. It is in good overall condition, with no cracks or chips, but some signs of wear: tiny spots (chips) on the top, and three small chips underneath, which are original, as they are located at three raised points that are most likely "traces" of the manufacturing process. It measures 18 cm in diameter and 0.8 cm thick.
