Pair of large Louis XV style 19th century caryatid wall lights - bronze

Very pretty pair of large louis XV style sconces, from the second half of the 19th century. Made of bronze. Original gilding in very good condition with a beautiful shine. The wall part is decorated with female caryatids carrying on their heads a basket of flowers and fruits. The two caryatids are different, we are in the presence of a real pair; rare. The light arms are decorated with acanthus leaves and scrolls. One of the sconces is stamped on the back: gb (see last photo). They are electrified and tested, new electrical system (for e14 bulb).
