Set of 4 chairs from the Perret and Vibert house in varnished bamboo and rattan. Circa 1890/1900. Cited as the house of bamboo, a famous luxury wickerwork based at 33 rue du Quatre Septembre in Paris. The must-have of rattan. The small metal plates from the Perret and Vibert house are missing, but they are indeed authentic. The chairs have been restored in our workshop and are in very good condition; they simply lack a row of rattan thread and a small curved bamboo return at the bottom of the feet, which we removed as some were damaged or missing. This does not detract from the stability or beauty of the chairs. Original patina from time, no breaks or missing parts. There are 2 chairs that are slightly taller than the other 2, measuring H95 and H92 cm (see the outer rows of bamboo on the backs; 2 chairs have 6 and the other 2 have 5). Very good overall condition.
