Wireless vase lamp from West German Pottery – Blue-White with Japanese fabric|33 cm. A handy unique piece, combining typical 1970s style with a modern Japanese textile design. The original West German Pottery vase has a soft, organic shape and a flowing glaze in cream white and various shades of blue – the small size recalls traditional jug forms. The cylindrical lampshade is covered with high-quality Japanese cotton fabric. The graphic wave pattern (Seigaiha) is one of the classic motifs of Japanese textile art and symbolises calm, permanence, and the sea. The fine dark blue lines reflect the colours of the vase, creating a particularly balanced composition. The translucent fabric produces a pleasantly warm, homely light when switched on. The lamp operates wirelessly, allowing for flexible placement wherever atmospheric light is desired – on sideboards, windowsills, bedside tables, dining tables, or even on the balcony and terrace. Like all lamps from Roomlight Studio, this unique piece has been carefully modified. The collector's value of the vase is preserved, as no drilling has been done. The reversible plug-in solution allows for a return to the original state at any time. The lamp base is additionally weighted to ensure stability. The rechargeable LED light source is charged via USB-C, offering a lighting duration of approximately 6 to 12 hours depending on brightness, and can be dimmed and adjusted in light colour via remote control. The light source can be purchased again at any time. Dimensions. Total height: 33 cm. Vase: 9 cm wide. Lampshade: 18 × 19 cm. A calm, timeless accent lamp that elegantly combines Scandinavian lightness, Japanese design, and the character of classic West German Pottery.
