Villeroy and Boch Acapulco mugs, set of 4

Set of five coffee or tea cups from villeroy & boch from the acapulco series, designed by christine reuter in 1967, inspired by mexican folk art. Colorful iconic design from the mid-century. The cups with handles have a maximum filling weight of 0.180 litres. The acapulco line was produced from 1967 to 1994. The first production was made with the blue logo and later with the brown logo. This set consists of 3 blue and one brown logo. Very good condition with slight signs of wear. There is a small notch on each of two cups, which are still glazed, see illustration.
